Kerang Health Care
General medicine, urgent care, transition care program, and palliative care. KDH has one operating theatre and offers pre-admission clinics and elective surgeries in general surgery, gynaecology, urology, and dental surgery. Day oncology services are provided under the auspice of Bendigo Health, including infusion therapies.
The district nursing service offers Hospital in the Home (HITH) and post-acute care. The WD Thomas Centre hosts planned activity groups, both centre-based and mobile. The Allied Health team provides adult exercise groups, hydrotherapy classes, and physiotherapy outpatient clinics. Additionally, the Men’s Shed and Rita Hall Opportunity Shop are integral parts of KDH’s community services
Our Story
Medical Clinic
KDH owns and operates the Kerang Medical Clinic (KMC), which is fully accredited as a training site with both ACRRM and RACGP, and is compliant with AGPAL accreditation. The clinic is staffed with administrative and nursing personnel to support General Practitioners (GPs) and offers weekly skin clinics for excisions and biopsies. Onsite GP supervision is available.
